Headshot Rates

YOUR SESSION:
A 2-3 hour natural light outdoor photo shoot (I shoot until we’ve ‘got it’ and then some,) with 3-4 wardrobe changes (anything more tends to be overkill.)I’m there with you to help with wardrobe and have the most amazing makeup artists for you to look your absolute best. Make-up artists (light hair included) are both for women and men (yes, we all need a bit of help to be ‘camera ready’) and are outstanding. They are what make that essential professional polished difference so that you really ‘pop’.They stay with us throughout the shoot and, in addition to their ridiculously invaluable services, add an integral extra eye to make sure you’re always looking awesome. And they’re terrific.  I would have them make me up every day of my life if I could.  I’m not kidding.They are $175 for women and $100 for men are beyond vital in making your session the very best. Beyond beyond.Before we shoot, we’ll talk about your goals, preferences, pet peeves and needs and I’ll continually show you the shots as we shoot (unless you think that messes with your head) to make sure that we’re

always on the same page.

After your shoot you’ll receive a DVD of around 100 of your best edited high-resolution images as well as an online gallery (up for 60 days) so you can easily share your shots with agents, managers,

publishers (for you authors and artists), family & friends, etc along with helpful suggestions for selecting and step by step instructions for retouching & printing.

In a nutshell, you’ll be well taken care of.

What to wear, what to bring
After scheduling your photo shoot, you’ll receive a fun filled email with all the necessary information (suggestions for wardrobe, super helpful hints for preparation, what to bring, and, of course, directions on how the heck to get here), helping you with everything you’d ever need to know to get ready.

Makeup artists extraordinaire
The women I use are awesome.  Truly.  They are here to make you look your absolute best while, above all, keeping you looking like YOU.  They also help with hair.

Outdoor Lighting
Outdoor, natural lighting provides hugely complimentary, vibrant images and unlimited backgrounds that simply cannot be recreated in the studio.  And nothing beats fresh air.  A common misunderstanding in this industry is that you need a big fancy studio to create fantastic headshots. You don’t.Isn’t that all excellent?

And the rate? $650. Everything (except the work of a makeup artist, which is either $175 or $100 payable directly to them) above included.
